What’s the difference between construction common and construction heart?
Construction Common lumber is a lower grade wood; therefore, it often has a wide color range, creating a less uniform appearance. Construction Heart lumber comes from the inside of the Redwood tree and therefore has a more uniform appearance.
Construction Heart is a higher grade wood. It has an overall better, uniform, red appearance that comes from the inside of the Redwood tree. Please note, both Common and Heart will turn grey over time without stain.

We only accept written checks for payment.
How long is the wait time?
Due to the nature of this work, it truly depends. Weather impacts our schedule, particularly in the winter. However, on average, we are booked approximately one month out more or less.
